One of my favorite things to construct with are wooden planters and other wooden containers. They are easy to use, not too costly, and provide a great return on your investment. It is possible to spend hundreds of dollars on planters that are purchased in a store; but, if you give me some fence pickets, I can create you a lovely cedar planter box in only one day!
Planter boxes allow you to fill your outside area with flowers even if you just have a balcony or patio to work with. Growing plants in containers is a breeze, and you won’t have to spend as much time pulling weeds. When you add a trellis to your planter, it may also serve as a screen for your privacy.
